I am excited to use the free website for my students only because back home where I am from Students have no experience in using the internet to check daily assignments and how they can do their assignments on the computer and to just put it in a drop box or how they can email me their assignments. I started doing that when I started this program back in 2011 on how to use a drop box and using D2L and it will be a good experience for my students who are in high school or in middle years to be prepared for online usage such as drop boxes, online discussions, and how I will be emailing them individually and how this D2L works too and especially what kind of assignments they need to hand in. So that way I can prepare them for university.
“How do you think you could/would use video in the classroom”.
Ways I can use video in the classroom is engage students to get to know each other and learn about each other like interview each other. They can edit their videos by adding clips and background music. Or I can make videos on learning a new lesson and just give them the materials in front of them and they can learn along as they watch the video. Students will have fun with video in classroom back home because there is limited supplies from where I am from.
How Students can use software tools for the classroom?

Students can use graphic software’s for making posters for the school. Students can get creative making posters and brochures for the school. Students can also use graphic designs for power point presentations that way they can practice using them in Grades 5 to Senior 4 because in University they will be doing a lot of class presentations. Just to make their class presentations interesting.
HOW COULD YOU USE PRESENTATION SOFTWARE IN THE CLASSROOM?
I would let my students use presentation software in class because they will be using it a lot as they continue their education. Could be doing group projects like on World Religion or a sport they like to play and present to the class. Students who are doing presentations regularly they will engage on speaking public and etc. They can do individual projects on many different topics. I would love to let my students use presentation software and there is a lot to it that they can learn on and be creative with their presentations. I would use it many times myself when I’m teaching and motivate students to use the presentation softwares too.

I could definitely use this for my students for my class because it’ll boost students to do their work. Where I am from I have never seen any Teachers do this for students to use. Students will be excited to use the site to check their readings and assignments etc. Most students are always online and they will for sure use the blog. Looking forward to using the blog for my students.
